許せない

この人である私が　あの人であった　
という場合はない　とは否定できまい　

たまたま　この人が私であって　
あの人が私でなかっただけ　

私がこの人ではなく　
あの人である可能性はあったのだ　

だから　私は許せない　
あの人にあんなことをする別のあの人を　

私があの人でないとしても　
私があんなことをされたら　どうだろう　

まったくの他人事（ひとごと）ではないのだ　
ほとんどそれは　私の問題なのだ　

あんなことをする別のあの人が私なら　
私は私を許せない

I Can't Forgive

I can't deny that I wasn't that person.

It just happened that this person was me
and that person wasn't me.

It was possible that
I was that person, not this one.

So I can't forgive another person
who does that to that person.

What if someone did something like that to me,
even if I wasn't that person?

It's not a completely different person.
Almost that is my problem.

If that person who does that is me,
I can't forgive me.
