わずかな負の要素が集まれば大いなる負となり
交通渋滞、事故多発、騒音公害、大気汚染を招く。
ケータイだって、そう。
便利なだけではない。
ケータイあるゆえに、ケータイを持ち歩かねばならず
充電せねばならず、着信を確認せねばならず
連絡せねばならず、さようなケータイのシステムに
囚われて生活せねばならない。
機種更新の対応、基地局の確保など
システム全体の整備も大変なはず。
また、ケータイを使うことで恩恵を受けるとしても
ケータイを使わないことで受けた
かもしれない恩恵は失われる。
たまに電車に乗ると
ケータイを見つめる自閉症患者ばかりで不安になる。
不便なクルマやケータイを便利または必要
と感じる状況が、すでに問題ではなかろうか。
パソコン、インターネットも然り。
それがなければできないことが
それがあることによってできるとしても
それがなくてもできるはずのことが
それがあることによってできなくなってはいまいか。
････とまあ、そういうわけなのだ。
これら文明の利器なるものを使用する理由は
決して「便利で簡単だから」などではなく
「不便でも面白いから」「面倒でもできるから」
などと言うべきではなかろうか。
