裏隣りの家の屋根の上にやたらと鳩が多い。
鳴き声がうるさく、糞による被害も心配なので
ともかくその家へ問い合わせてみた。
すると、餌を与えたり、飼っているわけではなく
なぜ集まるのか不思議であり、困っているとのこと。
調べてみたら、原因は自宅を含むマンションにあった。
４階にある空室のベランダが鳩の巣になっていたのだ。
いかん。このままにしてはおけない。
早急に対応してもらうため
自主管理組合の理事長としてオーナーへ連絡した。
ところが、困った返事。
以前はオーナーの息子さんが住んでいたそうだが
その友人に貸したらゴミ屋敷にされてしまったとのこと。
まったく手のつけようがないほどに。
定期排水管清掃の時期に鍵を預かって室内に入ったら
それはそれは、じつに信じられない光景。
とにかく、どこもかしこもゴミ袋だらけ。
ゴミ入りポリ袋の白き峡谷の底を恐る恐る歩く感じ。
敷きっぱなしの布団の上もゴミだらけ。
まさに寝る場所もない（そりゃ出ていくわ）。
六畳の洋間はゴミ袋だけで背の高さまで完全に埋まっていた。
ゴミ箱ならぬ、ゴミ部屋である（アホか）。
キッチンの床は濡れ、落ちていた硬貨が錆びていた。
（なぜ？ なぜ、ここまで････）
住人は地元の医科大学歯学部の学生だったそうである。
こんな歯科医に治療されたら、ゴミ歯だらけにされそう。
排水管清掃の女性作業員が言う。
「以前、女の人で、もっとひどいゴミ屋敷ありましたよ」
結局、オーナーは業者に頼んでゴミを処分し
業者に頼んで室内を修繕し、業者に頼んで転売してしまった。
このオーナーも夫婦そろって歯科医であった。
息子さんも、おそらく歯科医になられたことであろう。
近頃はコンビニより多いくらい増えて儲からなくなった
と噂される歯科医、おそるべし。
