通販でタイムスコープなるものを買った。
過去または未来の時刻を設定したまま覗くと
その場における設定時刻の景色が見える望遠鏡である。
Googleマップ並みのデータとGPS機能を使えば
過去の景観を静止画像として眺めることは可能だろう。
また、データを基に仮想現実を構築すれば
仮想的な未来の景観を眺めることもできる理屈だ。
ところが、これは違った。
書斎でパソコンに向かっていた去年の私自身の背中とか
買い替えるらしい来年の新しいエアコンが見えたりするのだ。
どうなっているのだ？
まるでドラえもんの道具ではないか。
あり得ない。
どうにも信じられない。
あわてて競馬場へ出かける前に
タイムスコープを詳しく調べてみた。
すると、設定項目は時刻だけではなかった。
状況設定が「夢」になっていた。
