風呂上がりの冷気が、いくぶん
心地よく感じられる季節になってまいりました。
あまり着衣を急がなくなり、それどころか
むしろ少々遅らせたくもなるほどです。
さて、本題に入りますが、ことほどさように
物事を急ぐか遅らせるか、続けるか切り上げるか
その判断基準は気分によるところが大きいようです。
面白くて楽しいから続ける気になります。
退屈でつまらなければ続ける気になれません。
たとえば、ある人にある趣味があるとして
特技でもありますから、それで儲けようとします。
すると、どこかしら仕事にもなるわけですから
あまり楽しくないこともやらねばならなくなります。
そもそも、気分とは無関係に
やらねばならないことをやるのが仕事です。
そして、もし楽しくないことが楽しみより多くなれば
続ける意欲は失せてしまい、もう趣味になりません。
これがすなわち、仕事を趣味とする人は別として
趣味が仕事になりにくい主な理由であります。
こうして文章や人生を続けるかどうかも
本人の気分次第、まったく同様でありましょう。

so he tries to make money from it.
Then he has to do things that he doesn't enjoy very much,
because it becomes a job somehow.
In the first place, work is doing
what we have to do regardless of our mood.
And if the things that aren't fun outweigh the fun,
we lose the motivation to continue,
and it's no longer a hobby.
This is the main reason
why our hobbies are less likely to become jobs,
apart from those who take work as a hobby.

and living like this depends on my own mood,
