苺狩りの帰りにダムに寄った。
フェンスから見下ろすと睾丸が縮みあがる高さ。
上昇気流も凄い。
大した建築物である。
ここに水を溜め、水位を上げ
その落差を発電に使っているわけだ。
不自然ではあるが、自然を利用しているわけで
案外、これが自然な展開かもしれない。
それはともかく、問題は我が野望。
じつは密かにダムを築いている。
少しずつ水を溜め、少しずつ水位を上げている。
あるいは水位を上げることなく
いたずらに水面を広げているだけ
という気がしないこともない。
ともかく、日々これ水位を上げるよう努め
それによって生じた落差で自家発電している。
発電だけでいいのか、という疑念はある。
観光名所にして余得を得たい、という欲もある。
しかしながら、あまりに地味。
着ぐるみの人気キャラはいない。
水面下に窓を設けても、客寄せの魚はいない。
マーケティングなんぞ本末転倒、水位が下がる。
そういうわけなので
我がダムに響くはウグイスの声ばかり。
カラカラと、野望の水車は空まわり。

Even if a window is installed
under the surface of the water,
there are no fish attracting customers.
Marketing is overturned and the water level drops.
That's why the only voice that echoes in my dam
is the warbler's voice.
It makes a vacant noise,
and the ambition water wheel just spins.
