起きたばかりで頭がぼんやり。
家族の誰かとやりとりしてから
思い出せない用を思い出し、客間に入る。
そこには世話になった人が寝ているはず。
まだ眠っていてくれたらありがたい。
残念ながら彼は横になったまま目覚めていた。
「ああ、もう食事かな」などと問う。
「うん。たぶん、そろそろ」などと答える。
どうもまともに考えるのが億劫だ。
「トントントトン トントントン」
まな板を叩く音がする。
台所ではなく、なぜか廊下で
母が食事の用意をしてくれているようだ。

The Person Who Took Care of Me
This is the second floor of my parents' house.
I just got up and my head is vague.
After interacting with someone in the family,
I remember something I can't remember
and enter the guest room.
The person who took care of me
should be sleeping there.
He would be grateful if he was still asleep.
Unfortunately he was awake while lying down.
"Oh, maybe I've already eaten," he asks.
"Yeah, maybe it's about time," I answer.
Apparently I'm afraid to think straight.
"Ton Ton Toton Ton Ton Ton"
There is a sound of hitting the cutting board.
It seems that my mother is preparing food
in the corridor, not in the kitchen.
