大きな建物、校舎であろうか。
せかされるように木造の階段を駆け下りる。
文化祭か運動会か、大きなイベントを控え
やらねばならないことが多いのだ。
階段から廊下に降り立ち、左から旋回する。
階段の裏側の位置に地下へと続く坂道があった。
そこへ入る直前、ある人物から声をかけられる。
そして、広い図面のようなものを手渡された。
それをいくつかブロックに裁断して上手に使うと
現在進行中の作業に大変役立つそうだ。
てっきり無視されていたと思っていた人物は
じつは僕に協力してくれていたんだ。
嬉しくて、あやうく泣きそうになる。

Work in Progress
Is it a big building or school building?
I run down the wooden stairs as if I was rushed.
We often have to do it ahead of big events
such as school festivals or athletic meet.
I descend from the stairs to the corridor
and turn from the left.
Behind the stairs was a slope
leading to the basement.
Immediately before entering there,
a person calls out to me.
And he handed me something like a wide drawing.
Cutting it into blocks and using it well
will be very useful for my ongoing work.
The person who I thought was completely ignored
was actually helping me.
I'm so happy that I almost cry.
