その他の指ではありえないことから確信できる。
なぜ指にテープを巻くのか、理由はわからない。
傷跡や傷口は見えず、痛みも感じない。
あるいは、ひょっとするとこれは
なにかの説明のための実演かもしれない。
その証拠のように、巻くのは私ではない。
実際に会ったことはないが、よく知った他人である。
性別の三割ほどが女性の男性でありながら
見た目ごく普通の中肉中背のおじさんである。
そして今、彼または彼女がなにやら説明している。
いや、違う。そうではない。
そのように推測されるだけだ。
ミュートされているのか、その声も内容も伝わらない。
しかし、実際のところはどうなのだろう。
私がマネキン人形のような空虚な物体であるため
それを理解できないでいるだけかもしれない。
荒唐無稽ではあるが、その可能性は残るはず。
どこに残るのか知らないけど。

Wrap My Finger
I'm about to wrap a tape around my finger,
