さらに部屋の中央、開けっ放しの金庫が見える。

全財産の入った金庫が破られている。
ありえない。信じられない。
絶対に破られるはずなかったはず。
しかし現実に、こうして破られている。
犯されたみたいに扉が開いている。
中身を盗まれてしまった。
空っぽだ。
まさに命よりも大事なもの。
人生の成果のすべて詰まっていた。
これは夢だ！ 悪夢だ！
これが現実であってはならない。
覚めろ！ 目覚めろ！
強く念じた。
信じられないとしても念じた。
すると、本当に破れた。
さっきまで意識していた世界が今破れた。
