窓から見下ろしたところは駐車場。
わずかな細い通路を残して満車状態。
窓辺には岩盤のような雪の塊が並ぶ。
それらを端から順次、クルマの隙間に落とし
衝撃で粉々にしようとしている。
これは、おそらく除雪作業ではない。
雪の塊を割るのが仕事のようだ。
なぜなら、割れたかけらをマジックハンドで
あとで拾う心づもりでいる。
ここは二階なので、使うマジックハンドは
かなり長くて高性能でなければなるまい。
最初に放り投げた塊は狙った隙間に落ちず
クルマのボンネットに当たってしまった。
おれのすぐ近くにいる上司のクルマなので
目撃されていたら大目玉をくらうところだった。
いけない、いけない。
今度は失敗しないようにしよう。
二投目は隙間のコンクリートに落ちた。
けれども、やや遠かったので
割れたかけらが車体の下に隠れてしまった。
あれらを拾うのは難しい。
奥の大半は諦めねばならないだろう。
さて、三投目はどうしたものか。
頼りになる基準というか、目印が欲しいところだ。

Snow Mass
The parking lot is overlooking from the window.
