どこぞの楽器店でバーゲンセールをやっている。
その店内を友人と一緒に眺めている私。
ワゴンの上、楽器入りの箱が陳列されている。
試し演奏ができるそうだ。
どれどれ、挑戦してみようか。
箱を破って取り出だしましたるは
弦楽器の一部のようにも見える木製の吹奏楽器。
さて演奏を始めようとする前に
友人が助言してくる。
「それ、吹いたり吸ったりするんだよね」
内心、戸惑う。
吹くばかりのものだと思っていた。
とりあえず、穴を指で押さえながら
おそるおそる吹いてみる。
なんとも情けない音とともに
笛の先から土埃のような煙がもくもく出てきた。
うーん。
これはちょっと、吸う気がしない。

Trial Playing
An instrument store in somewhere is doing a bargain sale.
I am watching the inside of the store with friends.
On the wagon, boxes with musical instruments are displayed.
