途中、兄からの電話で起こされた。
ご近所の玄関チャイムで起こされたり
上階の住人の生活音で起こされたりもした。
そのために前半の内容は忘れてしまった。
あまりに理不尽な仕打ちに怒りもした。
さて、家族で帰ろうとしている。
反対車線にバスがやって来た。
ところが、やりかけの仕事あって一緒に帰れない。
そっちは先に帰ってくれ、と伝える。
なのになぜか、こっちもバスに乗っている。
ふと車窓から頭を出して振り返ると
さきほど別れたはずの母が走って追って来る。
反対車線のバスは先に発車してしまったはず。
これでは意味ないではないか。
バスが止まり、ガラス窓を開ける。
はて、いつの間に閉まっていたのか？
追いついた母の手から紙切れを受け取る。
「これを伝えたくてね」
受け取った紙切れを読もうとする。
しかし、その前に道路看板が目に入る。
来年度の受験からは第一第二の設問に対し
答え合わせをしない、という学校側の方針発表。
おそらく前半の忘れた内容の続きであろう。
