坊主いなければ、遺体も遺骨も位牌もない。
進行役の黒服の男から
玉子焼きを内蔵する三角の装置を手渡される。
奇妙な構造。
玉子焼きの甘い香りがする。
それはともかく、私を含めた若者は
これよりただちに出かけなければならない。
先ほど、儀式用の履物を手渡された。
ちょっと待てよ。
縁側から庭に出ようとする時に疑問が浮かぶ。
履物の片方は靴であるにもかかわらず
もう片方はサンダルである。
色が同じ黒という理由だけでは
この二つを一緒に履くのに抵抗がある。
しかし、それを問うべき相手もわからず
その時間もなさそうである。
