オートバイに乗って公道レースを追っていた。
ハンドルから手を離し、腕組なんかして。
途中、なんらかの理由で追えなくなった。
道交法の規制があったのかもしれない。
観戦していた中国人団体の観光バスも停車して
物欲しそうに消えゆく残像を眺めている。
行く先は国際空港だろうか。
帰るつもりなく、枝分かれした別コースを選ぶ。
しばらく走っていたら、急カーブ付近に警官の姿。
それでもハンドルを握らず、体ごと車体を傾ける。
曲がり切れるかどうか、ぎりぎりのところ。
Public Road Race
I was riding a motorcycle
and chasing a public road race.
I took my hand off the steering wheel
and folded my arms.
On the way, I couldn't follow it for some reason.
