Between Books
I was demoted from an employee to a part-time job.
I can't remember
if I made a mistake in my work or if I wanted it myself.
It was on time,
but there was an instruction to work overtime.
I move from place to place.
Books are neatly placed
all over the floor of a large factory.
Probably working on shipping arrangements.
The woman who was part-time became
a full-time employee.
"Clean the gap between books."
I will do as I was told.
