パンケーキを食べにやって来た。
「ここ、おいしいのよね」
なんとも誇らしい気分。
階段を飛び下りるか迷っていたら
踊り場のテーブルに碁盤が置いてあった。
近所の大学生が数名
ここで碁を打とうと現れた。
「よし、今日こそ負けないぞ」
いかにも楽しそうだ。
外に出ると、ポリ袋入り札束が落ちていた。
急いで拾い上げる。
他にも同様のものが落ちていた。
それらも喜んで拾い上げながら
これは罠かもしれないぞ、と用心する。
Beware of Traps

from the neighborhood came to eat pancakes.
"It's delicious here, isn't it?"
I feel proud.
When I was wondering whether to jump down the stairs,
there was a go board on the table at the landing.
Several college students
from the neighborhood appeared trying to play Go here.
"Okay, I won't lose today."
It looks really fun.
When I went outside,
a bundle of bills in a plastic bag had fallen.
I pick it up in a hurry.
Other similar things were falling.
I'm happy to pick them up,
but beware that this may be a trap.
