実家に親類が集まっていた。
ある道具のことで母が従兄に礼を言う。
透明の容器の中に透明の液体が入っている。
用途は忘れたが、おれが持参したものだ。
「これはおれが買って持ってきたものだよ」
だが、母は納得しない。
しばらくしてまた蒸し返す。
「あれを用意してくれてありがとうね」
おれは衝動的に道具をつかむと
それを母の頭に突き刺すように打ち当てる。
「おれが持ってきたもんだと言ってるだろ。
他の誰にも関係ない！」
ゴムのように柔らかい素材だが、怒りは本物。
あまりの激情に胸が苦しくなってきた。

Relatives were gathering at my parents' house.
My mother thanked my cousin for a tool.
There is a transparent liquid in a transparent container.
I forgot how to use it, but I brought it with me.
