道端の草が小さな花を咲かせた。
派手でもなく、鮮やかでもない。
地味で淡い色の花だった。
「おかしなところに咲く花もあるものだ」
散歩中の紳士が呟いた。
「喜んで咲いてるわけではありません」
小さな声で小さな花が言い返した。
「おやおや。かわいらしい声ではないか」
「声だけはね」
「その声をもっと聴きたいものだ」
紳士は荒々しく地面から草を引き抜いた。
小さな花は悲鳴をあげ、うなだれた。
「ひどい人。死んでしまうわ」
「大丈夫。すぐに家の庭に植えてやる」
「うそつき」
「いいね、いいね。その、うそつき、って」
小さな花は黙ってしまった。
紳士も黙って家路を急ぐのだった。
しばらくすると、小さな花が尋ねた。
「その庭、広いかしら？」
A Small Flower
The roadside grass has blossomed a small flower.
Not flashy or vivid.
It was a sober and pale flower.
"There is a flower that blooms in strange places."
A gentleman on a walk muttered.
"I am not happy to bloom."
The small flower replied in the small voice.
"Oh my god, it's a pretty voice."
"Only the voice."
"I want to hear that voice more."
The gentleman wildly pulled the grass from the ground.
The little flower screamed and snarled.
"Awful people. I'll die."
"It's okay.
I'll plant you in the garden of your house right away."
"Liar."
"Like, like. That liar."
The little flower has shut up.
The gentleman also silently rushed home.
After a while, the little flower asked.
"Is that garden large?"
