ひなげしの花咲く丘の上、
空高く跳び上がる少女たち。
みんなみんな
頭に風船をつけている。
スカートのすそを押さえながら
花びらみたいに降りてくる。
着地すると、ふたたびジャンプ！
みんなみんな
楽しくてたまらない様子。
さびしそうな少年が
もの欲しそうに見上げていた。
「君も跳びたいのね」
「うん」
やさしい少女がくれた
風船ひとつ。
「怖がらなくていいのよ」
「うん」
風船を胸に抱いて、ジャンプ！
空高く舞い上がる少年。
でも、怯えた表情。
するとやっぱり
上空で風船が割れてしまう。
少年は石ころのように落ちてゆく。
それでもそれでも
丘の上は
やっぱりやっぱり
一面の
一面のひなげしの花。

Daisies Flowers
Girls jumping high up in the sky
on a hill where flowers bloom.
Everyone has balloons on their heads.
They hold down the edges of the skirts
and come down like petals.
When they land, they jump again!
Everyone seems to be happy and irresistible.
A lonely boy looked up at the craving.
"Do you want to jump too?"
"Yup."
A balloon given by a gentle girl.
"You don't have to be afraid."
"Yup."
He jumps, holding the balloon in his chest!
The boy soaring high in the sky.
But his frightened expression.
After all, the balloon will crack in the sky.
The boy falls like a stone.
Still, on the hill, after all,
there is a full bloom of daisies.
