ぼくが親を選んだわけではないし
ぼくが国を選べたはずもない。
だからぼくは
知らない人たちを親として
知らない国に生まれてきたわけだ。
最初は
幼くて弱くて悪くて
なんにもできなくて
助けてもらわないことには
生き続けることさえできなかった。
大人たちは比較的長く生きているから
いろんなことに自信たっぷりで
いろんなことをぼくに命令した。
ぼくが決めてもいないルールを
ぼくに守らせようと強いるだけでなく
ぼくが疑っているのに
疑うのはいけないとさえ言うのだ。
知らないうちにぼくは子どもでなくなり
子どもでないゆえに
ぼくは大人になってしまったわけだけど
ぼくが決めてもいない
納得してもいないルールなんか
たとえ従うしかないとしても
ぼくは死んでも認めないからね。

Child's Opinion
I did not choose parents,
I can not have chosen the country.
That is why I was born in an unknown country
with unknown people as parents.
At first, I was young, weak and bad,
I could not do anything,
I could not even live to not be helped by someone.
As adults live for a relatively long time,
they are confident in many things,
they ordered a lot of things.
Not only does it force me to keep rules
that I have not decided, but even though I doubt,
they say "You should not doubt."
Before I knew I was not a child,
because I was not a child I became an adult,
even if I do not decide,
there are rules that are not convinced,
even if I have to follow it,
even if I die I will not admit it.
