「まあ。ユミ、久しぶりね」
見ず知らずの女から声かけられた。
「ええ、そうね。ごめん、急いでるんで」
愛想笑いを浮かべつつ、その場を小走りに去る。
この他人、ユミという名前らしい。
私は自分なんだけど、外見は他人。
美人とも思えないが、そんなに悪くもない。
「おい、ユミ。他人のふりするなよ」
見ず知らずの男に呼び止められた。
「ごめんなさい。ちょっと急いでて」
あわてて逃げようとしたが
「ふざけるな」
男に腕をつかまれた。
「ユミ、なんで俺から逃げる」
「人違いです。私はユミではありません」
「なに言ってんだよ。ユミ、笑えねえぞ」
どうやら、この他人と深い関係の男らしい。
こうなった仕方ない。
別の他人になるしかない。
「君。人違いじゃないかな」
「わっ。すみません。し、失礼しました」
男は驚き、ひっくり返り、立ち上がって
また転んで、あわてて走り去った。
この他人、どうやら今の男の苦手なタイプらしい。
This Other Person
"Hey. Yumi, it's been a long time."
A strange woman calls out.
"Yes, that's right. Sorry, I'm in a hurry."
I leave the place trotting with a friendly laugh.
This other person seems to be named Yumi.
I am myself, but the appearance is others.
I don't think it's beautiful, but it's not too bad.

A stranger stopped me.
