これから選挙へ行くところだ。
まったく政治に興味はない。
しかし、投票せねば殺されかねないので仕方ない。
銃殺派、絞殺派、撲殺派、毒殺派から各一名、
全部で四人の男女が立候補している。
くすぐり派とかあれば喜んで投票するものを
これでは悲しんで投票するしかない。
長引く世界的な人口爆発の影響で
死刑制度の廃止案は議題にすらならない。
それにしても、私は撲殺派がきらいなのだが
その他の党派を選ぶしかないというのも情けない話だ。
人には肯定の意志があるだけでなく、否定の意志だってある。
プラス票しか選択できないのは不自然であろう。
理屈からすれば、ゼロ票だってあってしかるべきだ。
いつになってもマイナス票が実現されないおもな原因は
道義的または便宜的な理由ではなく
じつは単なる与党多数派の保身のためではなかろうか。
それに、だいたいだよ、これまで
一票差で当落が決まるなんて、まずあったためしがない。
すでに投票前に結果はムードで決まっているのだ。
そもそも、高額納税者も滞納者も一票というのは不公平。
いっそ、票を買えるようにしたらどうだろう。
いくつでも一票いくらかで買える。
それがそのまま納税になるわけで
税金の使い方を決める人を選ぶようなものだから
筋が通っているのではなかろうか。
というか、投票率の過半数割れがあった昔、
多数決で多数決選挙制度を廃止できなかったのか。
････などと考えているうちに、投票所が見えてきた。
ああ。
ますます気が重くなる。
拳銃を所持した役所の職員たちが並んでいる。
どんどん足も重くなる。
死にたくないが帰りたい。
しかし、帰っても不安になるばかり。
ああ。
つくづく、いやな世の中になったものだ。

Compulsory Election
We are about to go to the election.
I am not interested in politics at all.
But I have no choice but to be killed if I do not vote.
A total of four men and women are running,
one from each of the factions:
shooting, strangling, eradication, poisoning.
I would gladly vote if there was a tickling faction,
but this is all I can do with sadness.
Due to the prolonged global population explosion,
the abolition of the death penalty system
is not even on the agenda.
Nevertheless, I hate the eradication faction,
but it's a pity that I have to choose other factions.
A person has not only a will of the affirmation,
but also a will of the negative.
It would be unnatural to be able to select
only positive votes.
In theory, there should be zero votes.
The main reason why negative votes are not realized
at all times is not morally or expediently, but simply
because of the preservation of the ruling majority.
And, in general, it's almost never
before to be determined by one vote.
The result is already decided
by the mood before the vote.
In the first place, it is unfair for both
high-paying taxpayers and delinquents to have one vote.
Better yet, if anyone could buy a vote?
Everyone can buy as many as one vote.

couldn't the majority vote be abolished
by a majority vote?
