休日のお昼近く、近所の運動公園から声援が聞こえる。
おそらくサッカーの試合でもやってるのだろう。
それとも陸上大会か。
あるいは運動会かもしらんが、なんでもいい。
スポーツ観戦に興味はない。
どれもこれも似たり寄ったり。
写真を撮る楽しみも減退気味だ。
それにしても、他人事を我が事のように
なぜあんなに観客たちは熱中できるのかね。
身内や仲間ならマナーということもあろうが
まったく無関係な人まで勝手にファンになって応援する。
おおっぴらに大声出して騒げるのが嬉しいからか。
酒に酔うみたいにムードに酔っているのか。
それとも虫や鳥が鳴くみたいな求愛行動か。
「おまえを愛してるぜ！」
「あんたが死ぬほど好きよ！」
なるほど、本能の解放か。
我慢を含めた気持ちの発露にはなるだろな。
しかし、そうだとしても、ようわからん。
なぜ、どいつもこいつもスポーツ観戦なのだ。
ほとんどの人たちにとって
どちらの選手やチームが勝とうが負けようが
どうでもいいことではないのかね。
他に気になることないのかね。

I Can Hear You Cheering
Near lunchtime on holidays,
cheers are heard from the nearby sports park.
Probably a soccer match.
Or a land competition?
Or maybe it's an athletic meet,
but it doesn't matter.
I am not interested in watching sports.
They are all similar.
My pleasure in taking pictures is also declining.
Even so, why can the audience
be so enthusiastic about others?
If they are relatives or friends,
they may be manners,
but even completely unrelated people
will support themselves as fans.
Maybe they're glad that they make loud noises.
Are they drunk with mood like drunk?
Or courtship behavior like insects and birds singing?
"I love you!"
"I like you to die!"
I see, instinct release.
It will be an expression of feelings including patience.
But even so, I don't know.
Why everyone is watching sports.
For most people, it doesn't matter
which player or team wins or loses?
Do they care otherwise?
