いつの間にかスキー靴とスキーを履いて
真っ白なゲレンデの上に立っている。
さっきまで資産家の青年と列車に乗っていたはず。
高校の同級生でもあった彼の姿は、今はない。
先に滑り降りてしまったのかもしれない。
だとすれば、いかにも彼らしい。
追いかけるように雪の斜面を滑降し始めたものの
しかし、もう彼のことはすっかり忘れている。
スキーに乗って風を切るのがこんなに楽しいのは
いったいどういうわけだろう。
ゲレンデは快適の現場だな、などと思う。
「ねえ、一緒に滑らない？」
故郷の幼なじみの女の子の声がした。
彼女がゴーグルを持ち上げる。
その笑顔がまぶしい。
女の子がスキー場でスキーウェアを着ると
なぜか、いつもの倍ほどきれいに見える。
「もう一緒に滑っているじゃないか」
「えっ、そうだっけ？」
ふたり、スキー板を並べて滑り下りる。
ほほえましいシュプールが雪面に残るだろう。
このまま最後まで一緒に下りてゆくつもり。

Ski Slopes
Unexpectedly,
I stand on ski slopes and ski boots and skis.
I must have been on a train with a wealthy youth.
I can't see him as a former high school classmate.
He may have slipped off earlier.

I started downhill on a snow slope to chase him,

Her smile is dazzling.
When a girl wears skiwear at a ski slope,
it looks as beautiful as twice as usual.
"We're already slipping together."
"Well, is that so?"
We are skiing side by side.
Remarkable ski tracks will remain on the snow.
As we are going down to the end together.
