諸事情から陸地に家を建てられず
池と呼ぶべきか迷うような湖に家を浮かべた。
太くて長い丸太を並べ
縦横二段に縛った大きな
犬小屋に見えなくもない小さな家を建てたのだ。
風に流されて岸から離れ過ぎないよう
また、逆にあまり岸に近づかないよう
形もそうだが
航行するわけではないので船とは呼びにくい。
なぜこんな湖上生活を始めたのか、と言うと
地上があまりにも物騒だったからだ。
長引く群発地震。
それを起因とする困窮と貧困の深刻化。
不幸に追い打ちするような犯罪の増加と凶悪化。
つまり、地上では安心して眠れないのだ。
ひどい世の中になったものだ。
ただし、湖上が安全とも言えない。
拳銃は持ってないが、用心のため大量の石ころ、
確保した玄米と釣ったり罠にかかった魚を食べ
たまに上陸すると、山菜を採ったりする。
さらに最近では、街に出て買い物だってする。
大人しくなりつつある大地もそうだが
そろそろ地上の混乱も落ち着いてきたようなのだ。
それでも筏の家に慣れてしまったので
しばらくは湖上生活を続けるつもりでいる。
なにしろ、地に足の着かない生活は気楽だから。

Raft House

I couldn't build a house on land,
and floated a house on a lake where
I was wondering if it should be called a pond.
I built a small house like a kennel
on a large raft with thick

in two rows and columns.

because it does not sail.
The reason why I started such a life on the lake
was because the ground was so noisy.

that unfortunately overthrow.
I mean, I can't sleep on the ground at ease.
It's a terrible world.
However, it cannot be said that
it is safe on the lake.
Although it is a remote place,
people appear in search of food.
I don't have a pistol, but as a precaution,
I prepared a lot of stones, a hook, a willow knife,
a handmade bow and arrow, and a boomerang.
I eat the brown rice I have secured
and the fish that I caught and caught in the trap,
and once I land, I collect wild vegetables.
More recently,
I've been out in town and shopping.
As is the case with the earth,
which is becoming more mature,
it seems that the turmoil on the ground
is about to settle down.
Still, since I got used to the raft house,
I plan to continue living on the lake for a while.
After all,
living without a foot on the ground is easy.
