我々は互いを「同志」と呼び合い、
革命の機会を狙っていた。
ただし、血なまぐさい政治革命ではない。
産業革命やIT革命でもなく
ましてや宗教改革ではあり得ない。
たとえるなら、ルネッサンスに近いだろうか。
既存文化を破壊する軽率な文化大革命ではなく
文化全般に対する集団的な意識革命のようなもの。
ただし、明確な具体策はなかった。
漠然とした日常の慢性的な閉塞感が耐え難かったのだ。
「同志。なにか面白いことはないか」
「同志。その問いからして面白くないぞ」
「すると、この考えは粛清せねばならないのか」
「自己批判に任せるが
とにかく、つまらん言動は排除せよ」
我々は模範的な優等生になりたいわけではなかった。
「よくできました」の
花丸スタンプが欲しいわけではなかった。
命を捧げねばならぬとしても悔いのない何か。
「革命のごときもの」が欲しかっただけなのだ。

There Was No Revolution
We called each other "comrades"
and were looking for opportunities for revolution.
However, it is not a bloody political revolution.
It cannot be an industrial revolution
or an IT revolution,
let alone a religious reform.
For example, is it close to the Renaissance?
It is like a collective consciousness revolution
for all cultures,
not the rash of the Great Cultural Revolution
that destroys existing culture.
