雨音がするし、カーテンあるにせよ暗いから
きっとお外は雨なんだろう。
もう目を覚まさなければいけない頃合いだ。
でも、どうにも起きる気になれない。
それで、フトンの中でぬくぬくしていたら
友だちに腕を引かれて、僕は道を外れてしまった。
楽園を連想させるこの大きな敷地の向こう側で
これから厳かな式典が始まろうとしている。
なのに僕と彼は、それに参加しようともしないで
あらぬ方向へ歩み去ろうとしている。
あとで見つかって、きっとひどく叱られるに違いない。
それは気がかりだけど、どうも気持ちに逆らえない。
そこここに世界的な大企業の施設なんかもあるし
この奥にはもっと楽しいことが待ち受けているはず。
そんな心温まる明るい予感がする。
なんだか体がやけに軽くなって空中に浮かびそうだ。
いや、実際に少し浮かんでしまっている。
こんな姿を通勤通学途中の善男善女に見られたら
すこぶる怪しまれるに決まっている。
それらしく普通に地面を歩かなければ
それこそ道を外れた変な人だと思われてしまう。
なのに、どうにも足が地につかないんだな、これが。
Get off the Road
I can hear the rain, and it's dark even with the curtains,
so it must be raining outside.
It's time to wake up.
But I can't bring myself to wake up.
