最初、パソコンのキーボードを叩いていた。
ところが、途中から楽器のキーボードに変わった。
電子ピアノの音がして、ちょっとした即興演奏。
良くもないが悪くもないな、という感じ。
そうこうするうち、ふと気づく。
目の前の舞台の上で奥の壁を叩く者がいた。
銀色にメッキされたブリキの塀のような感じ。
性別不明の人物がこちらに背を向け
鍵盤状に並んだ薄い金属の板を拳で叩く。
耳障りなひどい音だ。
板がしっかり固定されていないせいだろう。
音楽の基礎ができていないおれの演奏を
暗に
いやだな、と思っていると、さらに舞台の奥に
複数の男女が現れ、背を向けて並んだ。
それぞれ担当の金属板の前に立って叩き始める。
すると、これはあらかじめ計画された演奏か。
前衛芸術のようなものかもしれないぞ。
そのように考えられ、幾分安心した。
しかしながら、発せられる音は相変わらずひどい。
耳を覆いたくなるほどである。
自作自演。
Unpleasant Performance
At first, I was hitting the keyboard of my computer.
However, it changed to an instrument keyboard
in the middle.
There is an electronic piano sound,
and a little improvisation.
It's not good, but it's not bad.
While doing so, I suddenly noticed.
There was a person who hit the back wall
on the stage in front of me.
It feels like a silver-plated tin fence.
A person of unknown gender turns his back
and hits the thin metal plates lined up
like a keyboard with his fist.
It's a terrible sound that is jarring.
Probably because the board is not firmly fixed.
I feel like he's implicitly ridiculing my performance,
which doesn't have the basics of music.
When I thought I didn't like it,
multiple men and women appeared further
behind the stage and lined up
with their backs to me.
They each stand in front of their metal plate
and start beating.
Then, is this a pre-planned performance?
It might be like avant-garde art.
Thinking that way, I was somewhat relieved.
However, the sounds produced are still terrible.
They make me want to cover my ears.
