大声では言えない特典のようなものがあって
僕は社内で無料の食事ができるはずだった。
ところが、夢中で仕事しているうちに
掛け時計を見ると、もう二時を過ぎている。
外食に出かけなければいけない。
誰かに断ってから出かけようとするが
どこにも社員の姿がない。
あちこち探索し、ノックして入った部屋には
経営者の男と秘書らしき女性がいた。
噂によると二人は不倫関係にあるという。
だが、今はそれどころでない。
「時間が取れなかったので、これから食事してきます」
そして出かけようとすると、経営者の男が尋ねる。
「どこへ行くつもり？」
「さあ、よくわからないですが、適当なところへ」
「このすぐ上はナニアナだよ」と教えてくれる。
おそらく店の名前だろう。
そこでもいいかと思って出かける。
迷子になったところで、経営者の男が現われた。
ある出口の近くにおいて人差し指で上を示す。
それで、そこらから上の階に出た。
だが、それらしき店はどこにもない。
なんだか騙されたような気分。

Naniana
There was something like a perk
that I couldn't say out loud,
and I should have had a free meal in-house.

the manager's man asks.
"Where are you going?"
"Now, I'm not sure, but I'm going to go somewhere."
"Naniana is right above this," he tells me.
Perhaps it's the name of the restaurant.
I think it's okay to go there.
When I got lost, the man, the owner, appeared.
He points up with his index finger near an exit.
So I went upstairs from there.
However, there is no such restaurant anywhere.
I feel like I was fooled by him.
