狭苦しい座席に数名で乗り込む。
服装などからして宇宙船であろうか。
またはチューブ状通路の真空移動車両かも。
生徒たちとその親たちがペアになっている。
移動先でPTAみたいな集会があるらしい。
それにしても、カプセル内はにぎやかだ。
集会への両親の出席率の格差が話題になっている。
ただし彼の場合、父親の職業が特殊であるため
出席できないのは仕方ないとみなされている。
「だからなんだ？」という当然の疑問が浮かぶ。
残念ながら、その疑問に対する適当な輸送手段はない。

it is considered unavoidable that he cannot attend.
