自宅で使っていた大きな機械が故障してしまった。
どんな機械なのか説明しにくいが、その内部に
FAXのインクリボンを大きくしたような部品がある。
連絡したのか、定期的に巡回しているのか
好都合なことに印刷会社の営業の二人がやってきた。
二人は分担して分解して丹念に調べ始める。
ロールの内側の赤と緑の色違いの面を覗いたりする。
ちょっと気になったので発言してみる。
「その前後のロール、ペアではないかもしれませんよ」
交互というか個別に消耗するので
一緒に一組で買ったものではないかもしれないのだ。
営業の上司が「そうだとしたら、困ったことになるな」
部下が返事する。「ええ、まったくですね」
やはりそうであったか、と思う。
だとしても彼らになんとかしてもらうほかない。
実際、これが予知夢であったかのように
やがて自宅のFAXは壊れてしまった。
自作自演。
Front and Back Roll
The big machine I was using at home broke down.
It's hard to explain what kind of machine it is,
but there is a part inside it that looks
like a large fax ink ribbon.
Fortunately, two sales people
from the printing company came,
whether they contacted me or patrolled regularly.
The two share and disassemble it
and begin to investigate it carefully.
They look inside the roll
in different colors of red and green.
I'm a little worried, so I'll say something.
"The rolls before and after that may not be a pair."
It may not have been bought together as a set,
as it will be consumed alternately or individually.
The sales boss said, "If so, you would be in trouble."
Subordinates will reply. "Yes, not at all."
I wonder if that was the case.
Even so, I have no choice but to get them
to do something about it.
In fact, as if this was a precognitive dream,
my fax at home eventually broke.
