相棒と一緒に期待に胸を膨らませていたものよ。
そしたら、変な男が横から現れ

あっさり偽札の束を横取りされてしまったわけよ。
そいつは別れ際に言うのさ。
「この26という数字はおまえらの考えとは違う」
前後関係とか忘れたが、おれたちは確か
そんな数字の話をしていたんだ。
「26番目はな、怪僧ラスプーチンだ」
そいつ、そう断言するわけよ。
それで、おれたちは納得したものさ。
ああ、こいつがあの有名なあいつなんだな、と。
