歩いていたら、知り合いの女に出会った。
同じ町にある食堂の看板娘。
東南アジア系の一家で、裕福とは言い難い。
むしろ貧乏のようである。
女とは約束をしている。
2万円でいつか服を作ってやる、と。
簡単な服なら作れるような気がする。
ネットで検索して勉強すれば
立派な上下そろいの服を作ってやれるだろう。
「でも今は、服に2万円を使うより
別のもっと必要なことに使うべきだよ」
そんな会話をしているところへ
彼女と同国人らしい色黒の男が割り込んできた。
裸の上半身に漁師の網のようなものを羽織っている。
彼女に馴れ馴れしく言い寄り
こちらを無視して彼女を抱き寄せようとさえする。
彼女が困っているようなので
「おい、やめろよ」と男へ忠告する。
すると男は目をむき、ケンカ腰になる。
血の気の多そうな相手だが、ここは後に引けない。
腕力で勝てる自信はないものの
状況からして闘うしかなさそうである。

To Make Clothes
