生命保険会社の担当から電話があった。
「この度、定年退職することになりました」
30年近く昔に個人年金を始めたのだ。
「ああ、そうですか。それはどうも」
勤めていた会社へ彼女が飛び込み営業。
断れず、よくわからないまま契約してしまった。
当時、口車に乗せられた気がしたものだが
受取開始が近い今となっては、ほぼ感謝している。
「なんだか懐かしい気がします」
「ですね。貰える日が来るとは思わなかったですよ」
毎年届く卓上カレンダーは重宝している。
毎年の誕生日お祝いメッセージレターにしても
まことに長い間、ご苦労様でした。
