兄の運転するクルマに乗って
これから家族で町へ出かけることになった。
私は尋ねる。
「忘れ物はない？ 傘は？」
傘はない、と予想通りの兄の返事。
天気予報は、曇りのち雨。
車庫のすぐ前、道路を挟んだ物置小屋まで行く。
父がまだ生きていた頃、ここが車庫だった。
奥の壁に引っかかっていた傘をつかむ。
戻りながら確認すると、骨折して使い物にならない。
小屋に引き返し、別の傘を探す。
小物で茂みになった向こう側に一本あった。
茂みには草木が生え、蛇の姿まである。
それも一匹だけではなさそうだ。
蛇のシッポを避けるように手を伸ばす。
すると、不意に子熊のような獣が現れ
勢いよく脇腹にぶつかってきた。
痛くはなかったが、驚いた。
あるいは、イノシシの子だったかもしれない。
やれやれ、野生化してしまったか。
長い間この小屋は放っておいたからな。

Wild Cabin
I am going to go out to the town with my family
from now on riding the car that my older brother is driving.
I ask him.
"Do you have anything left behind? What is your umbrella?"
The brother 's reply as expected that there is no umbrella.
The weather forecast is cloudy and then rain.
Just before the garage, go to the storehouse across the road.
When my father was still alive, this was a garage.
I grab the umbrella that was caught in the inner wall.
If I check it as I return it will break and will not be usable.
Return to the cabin and look for another umbrella.
There was one in the other side
that became a bush with small items.
Plants are growing in the bushes,
even to the appearance of a snake.
It seems that not only one of them, too.
I reach for it to avoid snakes' tails.
Then suddenly a beast like a bear appeared
and bumped into my armpit with vigor.
Although it did not hurt, I was surprised.
Or maybe it was a wild boar.
Whew, did it get wild?
Because I left this cabin for a long time.
