しかし、友人は納得してくれない。
手持ちのナスのヘタのそのまた上に
メッキしたような金のキャップが被さっている。
この部分を包丁で器用に切り取りながら
先ほどから偉そうに講釈を垂れ流していたのだ。
このナスを根拠として論陣を張っていたのに
一般的なナスとは言い難いことに今さら気づく。
じつにどうも、まことに遅ればせながら
ああ、恥ずかしい。
