ひとり、地下道を歩いていた。
赤レンガの壁がところどころ壊れている。
大規模な災害が起こったようだ。
通路を曲がったところで行き止まりになった。
途中で陥落したトンネルのような袋小路。
ひとり、若い女が続いてやって来た。
「引き返すしかないようだよ」
同情しながら伝える。
「そのようね」
一緒に引き返すなら、まんざら悪くもない。
Underground Blind Alley
I was walking along the underpass.
The red brick walls are broken in some places.
It seems that a large-scale disaster has occurred.
A dead end just turned around the passage.
A blind alley like a tunnel that fell on the way.
One young woman followed.
“You seem to have to turn back.”
I sympathize with her.
“That ’s right.”
If I turn back with her, it ’s not bad.
