学生科学研究発表会の会場、その控室。
女声アナウンスによる結果報告があった。
「今回、被子植物の花粉に関する
世界的にも珍しい発見が報告されました」
すでに結果を知っているらしい男が
劇的効果を高めるようと、わざとらしく問う。
「おいおい。誰だよ、そんなの発表したのは？」
おれは片手を上げて嬉々として発言する。
「はいはい。それは私です。この私です」
当然ながら、おれに注目が集まる。
しかしながら、かなりまずいことになった。
おれは控室の端っこで放尿中だったのだ。
不謹慎にも、床に立小便の最中だった。
しかも、その床の尿だまりに浸って
学生ズボンを濡らした男子生徒の背中も見える。
彼が寝ているのでないとしたら、泣いている様子。
受賞を喜んでいられる状況ではない。
さて、どうしたものか。
まったくもって、じつに困った。
Research Presentation
The venue for the student science research presentation,
its waiting room.
There was a result report
by a female voice announcement.
"This time, a rare discovery in the world
regarding pollen of angiosperms was reported."
A man who seems to already know the result deliberately
asks for a dramatic effect.
"Hey. Who made that announcement?"
I raise one hand and say happily.
"Yes, yes. That's me. This is me."
Naturally, I get a lot of attention.
However, I was pretty bad.
I was urinating at the edge of the waiting room.
Unscrupulously, I was pissing on the floor.
Moreover, I can see the back of a boy
who got his student pants wet by soaking
in the urine pool on the floor.
If he wasn't sleeping, he would be crying.
I am not happy to receive the award.
Well, what happened to me?
I was really in trouble.
