ラジオのパーソナリティをする仕事があって
その面接をこれから受けに行くところ。
通勤には原付バイクが望ましいようだが
免許もなく、仮にあっても運転する自信はない。
それで電車に乗るため駅へ向かった。
その途中、予備校の数学講師のような男が
なぜか頭の中に直接語りかけてくる。
彼のように流暢にしゃべる自信はない。
紙に印刷された一覧表のような画像が見える。
おもなラジオ局の周波数を意味するらしい。
さて、駅に着いた。
窓口でおばちゃんが職員と問答している。
どうやら料金不足らしい。
財布からお金をつまんで差し出す。
「いいのかね？」「ああ、いいよ」
電車が到着した。
財布からこぼれた紙幣や切手を拾う。
この電車に乗れるかどうか、ぎりぎりだな。
Frequency
I have a job as a radio personality,
and I'm about to go for an interview.
It seems that a moped is desirable for commuting,
but there is no license
and I am not confident to drive even if it is.
So I went to the station to catch the train.
Along the way, a man like a math teacher
at a prep school speaks directly
into my head for some reason.
I'm not confident that
I can speak as fluently as he does.
I can see an image like a list printed on paper.
It seems to mean
the frequency of the main radio station.
Well, I arrived at the station.
A middle-aged lady is asking the staff at the counter.
Apparently she is out of charge.
I pick up money from my wallet and give it to her.
"Is it okay?" "Oh, okay."
The train has arrived.
I pick up banknotes
and stamps spilled from my wallet.
I'm barely able to get on this train.
