ネット越しの魔球

体育館におけるバレーボール部の練習風景。
レギュラー選手を選び出そうとしている。

その直前には野球部の選手が
ネット越しに魔球を編み出そうとしていた。

また、そのボールを返球するときに
おれも投げ方を工夫してみたりした。

それはともかく、今はバレーボールである。
「スパイクは前でなく、下へ叩き落すように」

コーチの叩き方が激しいためか　
ボールから布繊維が埃（ほこり）ようにこぼれ落ちている。

これも一種の魔球かもね。

Magic ball over the net

I tried to devise a way to throw it.

Anyway, it's volleyball now.

The cloth fibers are spilling like dust from the ball,
probably because the coach hits hard.

It may be a kind of magic ball.
