図書館みたいな場所。
棚の上に山積みされた本の中から
一冊だけ持ち帰ることが許されているらしい。
物色するものの、欲しい本が見つからない。
とりあえず英文の小さな本を手に取る。
そこへ知人女性が現れ、同じように物色する。
彼女は英語が好きだったはず。
手に持ってる小さな本を棚の上に戻そうか。
わざとらしいかな。
そんな些細なことで悩む僕。
One Small Book
Somewhere like a library.
It seems that only one of the books piled up
on the shelf is allowed to be taken home.
I can't find the book I want though I look for it.
For the time being, I pick up a small English book.
An acquaintance woman appears there
and looks for it in the same way.
She must have liked English.
Shall I put the little book in my hand back on the shelf?
I wonder if it's on purpose.
I worry about such trifles.
