こちら、私がおりますところは
毎回びっくり死の犠牲者が多数出ることで有名な
「世界びっくり箱コンテスト」のメイン会場であります。
箱を開けたら蒸気機関車が飛び出すオーソドックスなタイプのものから
ミニ･ブラックホールを閉じ込めた最先端技術の応用作品まで
世界中からありとあらゆる心臓に悪そうなびっくり箱が集結しました。
私は仕事柄、スペアの人工心臓を半ダース用意しましたが
もう２個しか残っておりません。
やはり今回も不意打ちビックリが主流でありますが
箱を開けたら自分の死体が入っているなど
考えオチならぬ考えビックリも少なくありません。
昔からある拷問道具というか処刑道具としか思えないもの、
箱の中で隠れてタブーを犯しているもの、
全然びっくりするような要素がないのにびっくり箱と称しているので
逆にびっくりしてしまうものまで、とにかく驚きの連続。
まさに巨大なびっくり箱の中に落っこちてしまったような
錯覚と申しますか、変な気分を味わっております。
それはともかくですね、この会場、
落とし穴みたいな入り口はたくさんあるんですけど
出口らしきものがいくらさがしても見つからなくて
本当にびっくりなんですけど
私、いい加減びっくり疲れました。
