傾きに気づいた頃には
すっかり家は浸食されていた。
壁や柱は喰い散らかされ
床はへこみ、天井には大きな穴。
ここまでひどいとは思わなかった。
いまさらリホームしても手遅れだろう。
仕方がない。
おれは家に火をつけた。
メラメラと燃えあがる我が家。
土台までしっかり焼けるよう
灯油も少しばかり注いでやった。
さて、家は完全に焼け落ちた。
しばらくはホームレスだ。
ただし、テントはある。
寝袋だってある。
水とトイレは近所の公園。
まあ、なんとかなるだろう。
汚れた灰色の夜空に向かって
おれは誓う。
今度こそ浸食されない家を築いてやるぞ。
