僕は走ったり歩いたりして
楽しそうに喋ったり笑ったりしながら
ふたり共通の目的地を目指して進んでいる。
とても微笑ましい情景ではあるけれど
じつはあのふたり、僕たちでないかもしれない。
たとえば、あの少女は君ではなくて
さらに、あの少年も僕ではない。
そういう可能性は十分にある。
というか、そう考えるのが自然だ。
けれども、実際のところ
過去の事実なんか気にすることはない。
今、僕たちが思いたいように思えるなら
なんの問題もないはずなのだから。

You're riding a bike,
I'm running and walking,
we're talking and laughing happily,
moving toward a common destination.
It's a very funny scene,
