作れない部品が落ちていれば拾ったり
そこそこ安く売られていれば買ったりもする。
それを持っている知人から借りたり、さらに
他の作る人たちと一緒に共同制作したりもする。
こうして彼の作品が増える。
彼の楽しみが増える。
そもそも彼は作るのが楽しみである。
楽しいからこそ作る、とも言える。
もし楽しく作れないとすれば
おそらく彼は作り続けることができないだろう。
だから、次のようにも言える。
彼は自分の楽しみを自分で作っている、と。
どこかの誰かが作ってくれるかもしれない楽しみを
座して待ち続けたりはしない。

he probably could not keep making it.

He makes his own enjoyment by himself.
He will not wait without doing anything for fun
that someone somewhere will make.
