通販で指抜き手袋を注文したところ
妙なものが届いた。
パッケージには「手抜き手袋」とある。
手袋から手の部分を抜いたら
手首の部分しか残らない気がする。
いくらなんでも言葉遊びで「袋」だけ
ということはあるまい。
ところが、それは文字通り
まさに「袋」だけのようなものだった。
人気の漫画キャラクター
あの猫型ロボットの白くて丸い手そっくりなのだ。
とりあえず片方を左手にはめてみる。
すると、はめた手袋の感触が左手にない。
「なんだこれは？」と
はめた手の指を伸ばしたり縮めたりしてみる。
開いた手より手袋の方が小さいはずなのに
まったく手袋の外観に変化はない。
素手の右手で左手の手袋に触れてみると
なんとも不思議な感じがした。
左手は素手で右手に触れた感じなのに
右手は低反発クッションにでも挟まれたような感じ。
再び「なんだこれは？」である。
右手にも手袋をはめてみようとして
実際にはめてみてから驚いた。
この左手の丸い手のまま残りの手袋を持ち上げて
ごく普通に右手にはめてしまったのだ。
いろいろ試してみた結果、この手抜き手袋
どうやら四次元手袋のごとき代物であるらしい。
手袋したままパソコンのキーボードも打てるし
ハナクソだってほじくれる。
指先が見えなくても意のままに作業できる。
そしてその手は、何をしても寒くも熱くも痛くもない。
「すばらしい！」
仕組みはわからないものの、感心してしまった。
もっと調べてみようと手袋を外してみたら
そのはずした手首から先の部分がなくなっていた。
「さすが！」
再び感心してしまった。
意味はよくわからないものの
どうやら手抜き手袋に手を抜かれてしまったらしい。
Excluding Hand-cut Gloves
When I ordered a pair of thimble gloves online,
I received a strange item.
The package says, "Simple gloves."
When I take the hand part out of the glove,
I feel like only the wrist part remains.
No matter how much you play on words,
you can't just say "bag."
However, it was literally just a "bag."
It looks just like the round,
white hand of the popular cartoon character,
that cat-shaped robot.
For now, try putting one on your left hand.
Then, I could not feel the glove on my left hand.
"What is this?"
I try to extend and retract the fingers of the attached hand.
Even though the glove should be smaller than the open hand,
there is no change in the appearance of the glove.
When I touched the glove on my left hand
with my bare right hand, it felt strange.
My left hand feels like I'm touching my right hand
with my bare hand, but my right hand feels
like it's caught in a low-resilience cushion.
Again, "What is this?"
I was going to put a glove on my right hand,
and I was surprised when I actually put it on.
With this round left hand,
I picked up the rest of the glove and put it
on my right hand quite normally.
As a result of trying various things,
it seems that this omission glove is something
like a four-dimensional glove.
I can type on the computer keyboard
while wearing gloves, and even pick up my nose.
Even if I can't see my fingertips, I can work at will.
And my hands are neither cold
nor hot nor painful no matter what I do.
"Wonderful!"
I don't know how it works, but I'm intrigued.
When I took off the glove to investigate further,
the part from the removed wrist was gone.
"As expected!"
I was impressed again.
I don't really understand the meaning,
but it seems that the hand has been pulled out
by the shoddy gloves.
