ある犬を自転車の荷台に乗せて
その家の庭まで僕は運んだのだった。
その犬を途中で見つけて通り過ぎて
この家の前で庭にいるそっくりな犬を見つけた。
それで、わざわざ引き返して連れてきたのだ。
はっきり聴き取れなかったが
この家の奥さんらしい女性の声がする。
わからないながらも言いわけする必要を感じて
「犬を連れてきたんですが、仲良くしないんですよ」
事実、連れてきた犬はうなだれ、地面にうずくまっている。
この家の犬を見ると、やはりうなだれている。
形だけでなく態度まで似ている。
すると「ええ？ どうして連れてきたんですか？」
みたいな声がして、家人が出てきそうな気配。
連れてきた犬は急にガタガタおびえ始めた。
そして、平べったくなってシャッターの下の隙間から
するすると家の中に入ってしまった。
わあ、どうすればいいんだ。ワン。

and carried it to the yard of the house.
