おれたちは演劇をやろうとしている。
最初は劇の内容を煮詰める予定だったが
なぜか通し稽古をすることになった。
その劇は暗黙の了解のうちに始まってしまい
観衆もいないのに本気モードになる。
そも舞台ではなく、ごく一般的な住宅の中。
いわば映画の中の登場人物の気分。
おれはあたかも女装したつもりになって
腰をくねくねと動かしながら階段を上る。
その後ろから男の役者が追うようについてくる。
脱ぎ捨てられた衣装が散らかった寝室の中で
おれは振り向く。「ようこそ、いらっしゃい」
彼は驚きもせずに呆れ顔。
「で、これからの展開は？」
「こんな具合になるのよ」と説明するおれの口調の
妙にシナを作ってオカマっぽいこと。

Character in the Play
We are going to play.
At first we were planning
to examine the content of the play,
but for some reason we decided to practice through.
