郊外の駅前ロータリーのようである。
高架橋の階段から下りてすぐ横の縁石の上に
ひとりの若い女が腰かけている。
女は妙な動きをしながら喋っている。
「ああ、だめよ。鳩がたくさん飛んじゃうわ」
ここからではよく見えないが、衣類や持ち物に隠れ
尻の下に男を敷いているようである。
（ははあ。すると、いかがわしい撮影だな）
そうとしか思えない。
（明るいから昼間であろうに、大胆だな。
近くに通行人とかいないのかな）
この内心の疑問に答えるかのように
中学生らしき少年少女が近くを通り過ぎる。
学生たちは女の異常性に気づかない。
女がいることさえ気づいていないようだ。
「それでホント、昨日は歯が折れて、まいったよ」
まったく関係ないと言わんばかりの会話。
公共の場で不道徳な行為がなされているとは
平和な頭の中に露ほども浮かばないのだろう。
「ああ。そんなことしたら、巣箱が割れちゃうわ」
女は大胆な言動を繰り返す。
（いやいや、大したものだ。よくやるよ）
呆れながらも妙に感心してしまうのだった。

Pigeons in Front of the Station
It's like a roundabout in front of a station in the suburbs.
A young woman sits on the curb
next to the viaduct stairs.
The woman is speaking with strange movements.
"Oh no. A lot of pigeons will fly."
It's hard to see from here,
but she seems to be laying a man under her ass,
hiding it in her clothes and belongings.
(Hah, then it's a suspicious shoot.)
I can only think so.
(Because it's bright, it's bold even in the daytime.
I wonder if there are any passersby nearby.)
Boys and girls
who seem to be junior high school students
pass by as if to answer my inner questions.
Students are unaware of her anomaly.
They don't even seem to realize she's there.
"That's why I had a broken tooth yesterday
and I was really in trouble."
Their conversation just said it had nothing to do with it.
Immoral acts in public may not be as clear
in their peaceful minds as dew.
"Oh, that would break the birdhouse."
She repeats bold words and deeds.
(No, she's a big deal. She does a lot.)
I was amazed but strangely impressed.
